Calcastat turns real sports stats into daily math practice — no worksheets, no downloads, just a question a day.
What Calcastat Is
Calcastat is a free daily quiz that uses real sport scenarios — scores, stats, and plays from football, basketball, tennis, and soon soccer — to turn ordinary math problems into something worth solving. Every question comes at one of three levels: Easy (addition and subtraction), Medium (multiplication and division), and Hard (percentages), so there's a version for wherever someone actually is, not just where a grade level says they should be.
Each week, the questions follow the same fictional team and roster — a new cast every week — so solving today's question feels like following along with a story, not just crunching numbers in isolation.
Why We Built It
Most free math practice online comes as a printable worksheet: download a PDF, print it, hand it over, hope it gets done. We wanted something a kid could open and actually want to solve — instant, gamified, with a real explanation the moment they answer, right alongside the sports they already care about.
